About Capra Garrison, RN
Capra Garrison is a registered nurse, infusion therapy educator, and Founder and CEO of Pedagogy Education. Her professional background combines clinical infusion experience, continuing education, and quality assurance consulting in long-term care pharmacy.
Clinical Background and Nursing Education
Capra received her nursing education at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas graduating in 1986. Her infusion experience spans acute care, ambulatory infusion centers, and home infusion. She has also worked as a continuing education provider in long-term care and as a long-term care pharmacy quality assurance consultant.
These experiences inform her work developing education for nurses and other healthcare professionals involved in infusion care.
Founding Pedagogy Education
After teaching nursing education in classroom settings, Capra began exploring how online education could help facilities address staff learning and continuing competency needs. Pedagogy was incorporated in January 2010.
As Founder and CEO, her responsibilities include educational course content, author recruitment, and management. Pedagogy’s mission reflects her focus on supporting lifelong learning for healthcare professionals.

Capra’s interests include holistic health, nutrition, herbs, and complementary approaches to wellness. Her professional affiliations include the National Nurses in Business Association.
