Infusion Education Review

This bundle of online continuing education courses is designed for the nurse that requires a complete review of infusion therapies. This course is great for the LPN/LVN or RN that may have had limited exposure to infusion therapy education within their basic nursing curriculum. The successful completion of an organized infusion education program is required or recommended by many State Boards of Nursing for the LVN/LPN to practice infusion therapies. Due to the lack and/or inconsistency of infusion therapy in basic nursing curricula, The Infusion Nurse Society also now recommends the RN complete an organized education program on infusion therapy. This course package covers the basics of peripheral intravenous therapy, central venous access devices (central lines) and contains education on many of the more frequently administered infusion therapies.
