The Faces of Pedagogy

For healthcare professionals, the attainment of licensure and formal education does not mark the end of learning. We are responsible for continually developing our knowledge and skills through continuing education and self-directed professional growth. The vision of Pedagogy is to facilitate and encourage the process of lifelong learning for healthcare professionals around the world.

After seven years of teaching nursing education in a classroom-style setting, Capra found herself seeking new solutions for the multitude of problems that facilities face ensuring the continuing competency of their staff. While hesitant at first, Capra found herself embracing the solutions that online education offers. Pedagogy was officially incorporated in January of 2010, and the rest, as they say, is history!

Capra has more than 30 years of experience in infusion therapy and the instruction of licensed nurses in infusion therapy continuing education. Her experience comes from multiple infusion settings: acute care, ambulatory infusion centers, home infusion, Long Term Care continuing education provider and Quality Assurance Consultant.

Chief Operating Officer

Kendall joined the Pedagogy team to bring a fresh, new look to our social media marketing strategy as well as to be the secondary point of contact for customers. She has over 10 years of public relations and communications experience from previous employment, 3 of those years as a 911 Dispatcher. She graduated from nursing school in December of 2022 and has begun Pacific College's RN-to-BSN in Holistic Nursing program. Kendall is also a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association!

Basics of Peripheral IV Therapy; Current Standards of Practice

This was a great class to take as a review for me as an RN. I have been working in a clinical setting as an infection control nurse and have not bee able to utilize my skills in IV admin. This also allowed me to see the new technology. I was able to take this at my own pace while working, and go back and forth as needed. I definitely recommend this course to any nurse who has never had IV therapy class, and to those nurses who just want to brush up skills and review. - F.S.
