What is the Association for Vascular Access?

Nurses, pharmacists, physicians, and vascular access industry representatives have all discovered the value of professional excellence, education, and networking opportunities available through AVA membership.

AVA's unique multidisciplinary international membership focuses on patient-centered care, safe insertion and maintenance of devices, vascular access service management, and staff and patient education.  Through engagement in AVA-directed efforts, members advocate for patient safety and improved outcomes through identification and implementation of best practices in techniques and complication prevention.
