The IV-eye near infrared vein finder is suitable for hospital, pre-hospital (EMS), clinic, home and remote environments where peripheral vascular access procedures are performed; from carrying out the initial vascular assessment, locating difficult to find veins and assisting in choosing the best site on the chosen vein.
The new version of the IV-eye provides users all the benefits of portability, simplicity and direct contact performance along with greater image contrast. The greyscale imaging improves identification of deeper lying veins whilst the binary color display helps reduce the impact of hair interference.
