Helping the Forgotten: A Webinar
While we pride ourselves on helping all people, we can fall prey to overlooking and, in some cases, demonizing populations based on our personal beliefs.
The three groups we will discuss in the series are: (1) those who choose to leave a faith or spiritual group; and (2) those who affiliate with esoteric practices, and (3) those who engage with the metaphysical. In more than a decade in the field, I have not heard not even once any education on how to provide mental and emotional support to these populations.
Combining my spiritual/religious and counseling training along with my personal experience with all three groups, I supply a unique perspective that can serve you, a mental health professional, supply the compassion and healing that we all deserve.
In these webinars you will learn how to:
- Create a safe space for anyone who though much pain has departed from a particular faith or spiritual group.
- Help clients who affiliate with esotericism without compromising their mental and emotional well being.
- Provide those who engage with the metaphysical world for balance and connection.
The professional will also learn how to:
- Identify personal and collective conditioning that might demonize the forgotten.
- Suspend, not compromise, personal and spiritual biases.
Each webinar is $35 or you can register for the entire webinar series for $99. Fee is non-refundable after July 15th. Unfortunately, the series does not count for any CEs, but will, nevertheless, prepare you to support a percentage of men and women who are seeking a nonjudgmental space to explore their struggles.
