The Washington County Health Care Authority, which encompasses the Washington County Hospital and Washington County Nursing Home in southwestern Alabama, alleged Baxter and Pfizer Inc. subsidiary Hospira control 90 percent of the IV saline solution market in the U.S., and thus fixed prices.
