Catherine Schneider, Ph.D. Trained Gerontologist

Dr. Schneider is Ph.D. trained gerontologist who studied non-pharmacological interventions of cognitive impairment at the University of Kentucky. She used Neuropsychological testing and EEG imaging to study healthy middle aged and older adults at the ABC (Aging, Brain and Cognition) Laboratory housed in the College of Medicine at UK. She went on to study Dementia symptom management at NYU as a postdoctoral fellow under NIH/NIA. She has a robust publication record but has been blending the world of science and business and putting real world application to her studies at Atria senior living the past 6 years. Her current title is Director of Memory Care operations and curriculum, and she supports the company on a national scale in this role.
