Traumatic Brain Injury: Interventions for Maximizing Quality of Life

An injury to the head or a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) for some patients can be severe and life-changing with death being the worst-case scenario. Depending on the severity of the brain injury the patient may have a minor impairment and recover in a matter of weeks to requiring significant care measures due to permanent cognitive disabilities.
