This course is designed for nurse clinicians that require clarification of self-care, as well as practical ways to successfully achieve it in today’s fast-paced world of healthcare settings. The purpose of this course is to provide nurses with a deeper understanding of self-care and ways to fulfill the personal and professional obligation of self-care. After taking this course, the learner should be able to adequately describe self-care, identify barriers and enablers of self-care, and identify techniques he or she may incorporate to improve overall wellbeing.
