This course on Providing Culturally Competent Care for LGBTQ+ Patients will provide participants with an understanding of how to best meet the needs of patients who may identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. This comprehensive course can be utilized for all healthcare personnel throughout all care settings and experience levels as the content covered in this course will apply to all healthcare personnel. Within this course, the participant will expand their understanding of the LGBTQ+ community and its members will learn key terms and vocabulary that will promote LGBTQ+ inclusive language, as well as explore ways to provide a safe and therapeutic care environment to meet the individual needs of patients who identify as LGBTQ+.
