Prevention of CAUTI: Combating Catheter-Associated Infections

The course will discuss (CAUTI) Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections in the inpatient setting, the bacterial associated considerations during insertion and entering the tubing, and the monetary cost of CAUTI to hospitals. The course will also go over appropriate catheter care, and evidenced-based practice towards the culture of improvement including CAUTI policies and programs.
