This course provides an in-depth understanding of medication administration in healthcare settings, focusing on safe and effective practices for both delivering and discontinuing medications. Participants will explore the steps required to ensure accurate medication administration, including verification, dosing, and documentation procedures. Additionally, the course covers the best practices for the safe removal of medications, addressing scenarios such as medication recalls, discontinuation of treatments, and the management of expired or unused drugs.
