This video series presents various disease states of the cardiac system. The videos present an overview of anatomy and physiology, each disease etiology and diagnostic methods, pathophysiology and treatments for aortic aneurysm, congestive heart failure, and hypertension, cardiac monitor lead placement, and EKG tips. Each chapter is presented as a video enabling you to learn about these cardiac dysfunctions and monitoring in a fun and engaging manner.
Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
1. List the signs and symptoms of each cardiac dysfunction discussed in the videos.
2. Identify the diagnostic tests for each cardiac dysfunction discussed in the videos.
3. Recall one treatment method of each cardiac dysfunction discussed in the videos.
