Golden Tradewell, PhD, MPS, MSN, MA
Golden Tradewell, PhD, MPS, MSN, MA holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Research from Louisiana State University-Baton Rouge, LA. She also holds a Master’s in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University-New Orleans, LA, a Master’s in Nursing from Northwestern State University in Shreveport, LA and a Master’s of Arts with a focus in Social Psychology from McNeese State University. She also received her Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from McNeese State University.
During her 24 years of teaching in a Baccalaureate Nursing Program at McNeese State University, Dr. Tradewell developed a Transcultural Nursing course and brought students to Yucatan, Mexico. The students developed and implemented a health fair during their stay in Yucatan among the Mayan people. While working towards the completion of the Master’s in Pastoral Studies, Dr. Tradewell also taught in Loyola’s Graduate Online Nursing Program (Health Systems Management) as an adjunct faculty member. After completing her MPS, Dr. Tradewell served as an Adjunct faculty member for the Seminary of the Southwest teaching an online multicultural course, which she developed.
Dr. Tradewell has co-authored NCLEX-PN test bank books, PN Notes, and is currently the Subject Matter Expert for Elsevier. As the SME, Dr. Tradewell keeps nurses updated on issues affecting nursing education and the health care delivery system by posting articles on the Elsevier Custom Solutions for BSNs subgroup site.
